6th Annual Meanest Chili Cook-off
Benefiting the Denver Fisher House
Sunday, November 6, 2011
The Hatch Foundation returned to The Oriental Theater for the 6th Annual Meanest Chili Cook-off to benefit the Denver Fisher House. The Denver Fisher House is a home-away-from-home for veterans and active duty military who are in the area to visit a hospitalized family member. Additionally they provide accommodations for the family of hospitalized veterans and active duty military. We enjoyed an afternoon of chili, a Broncos victory and other fun events. Thanks to competitors, attendees, volunteers and partners for a great event! View photos from the event — thank you, Neil Corman! |

Benefiting those affected by the Fourmile Canyon Fire
Sunday, January 30, 2011
The Hatch Foundation presented the 5th Annual Meanest Green Chili Cook-off & Sizzlin' Jazz concert at The Oriental Theater to benefit those affected by the Fourmile Canyon Fire. Attendees enjoyed a green chili cook-off in the afternoon and took in some fantastic jazz in the evening with a poetry reading between sets. The $1650 raised from ticket sales, contestant entry fees and other donations will directly help those struggling to put their lives back together.
